Daisi Muibat Osunkoya is the Director of Fisheries in Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture. She is responsible for the supervision of all activities relating to Fisheries in Lagos State. She coordinates, set goals and performance targets for subordinates in the Fisheries Department. As the Director, she is a dynamic and motivated professional with proven record of generating and building relationships.

She has the ability to manage projects from conception to completion, develop appropriate interventions and strategies for overall development of focal groups in her field of operation. In addition, she is skilled in building cross functional teams, demonstrating exceptional communication skills and ready to make critical decisions at challenging periods. She is adaptable with transformational leadership skills, ability to work independently and create opportunities to further achieve organizational goals. In the field of Fisheries, Daisi Muibat Osunkoya has shown passionate interest in the development of Artisanal Fisheries and Aquaculture.

Her main objective is to increase fish production and create job opportunities in the Fisheries Value Chain in the State. She is also part of the team that is responsible for the implementation of Agricultural Value Chains Enterprise Activation Programme that has empowered 16,873 farmers and created over 10,000 indirect jobs between 2014 and 2021. She is a member of the Fisheries Society of Nigeria. She was awarded a Letter for Effective Job Performance, 2022 (Ministry of Agriculture) for her contribution towards the development of Fisheries in the State.
